Significant Productions is the award winning film studio co-owned by Nina Yang Bongiovi & Forest Whitaker with the aim of focusing on diversity in front of and behind the camera. In 2021, they decided to refresh the branding of the company. Collaborators, Daniel De Graaf and Isaiah King spent over 6 months defining and creating the brandmark, and then it was time to bring it to life.
Teaming up with Dirty Work to capture this in-camera, we were tasked with creating a unique production technique to animate the calligraphic “S” on screen by hand and creating footage that was VFX ready to complete the final look in a true handmade-digital hybrid workflow. See below for BTS!
